Anniversary Holiday in Rome

Two years ago, my husband made a really surprising gift for our 7th anniversary. He asked me to take the Friday (the day of our anniversary) as a day off, and asked that I didn't inquire anything further.

On our day, he took me to the airport without telling me the destination!! I found out we were flying to Rome (a city I have always dreamed of visiting, but could not afford to visit until then) just before we were going to board!

When we landed, to my amazement I found out that he had booked a hotel, car and even a romantic restaurant in the old part of Rome! Of course I didn’t have suitable clothes for a dinner at a restaurant - I had no idea where we were going.

In my country, it was freezing cold, and in Rome it was warm and sunny. So he took me to a shop at the hotel and got me a dress..

After the dinner he called some old-fashioned cab which took us back to the hotel. In our hotel room he opened the laptop and showed me a website he did with photo collages of the best moments and memories we had since we are together ... he was never good at internet, and he told me he learnt how to make this website and the collages just for this anniversary.

I was all tears ... and so proud I was married to this man! I will cherish all happy moments I had during that day forever.
