Egyptian Ethnic Groups, a Brief History

Egypt has an illustrious history with influence from Persians, Greeks, Romans, and Turks, followed by Europeans - British and French - in the early 1900s. Her people are predominantly Arabic in religion and culture.

Ethnic Egyptians make up more than 90% of the population. The remaining 10% include Arabs, Berbers, Bedouins, and Nubians.
