Holidays In August

"Relationship holidays in August celebrate Friendship Day, Sisters Day, Romance Awareness Month."

August holidays are all about tending the special relationships in our lives.

Like watering and fertilizing a flower garden, they're reminders to cultivate the things that please you both and return the most rewards, like:

• devote a day of unselfish attention to a good friend,
• do something nice for the younger sister who grew up wearing your hand-me-downs,
• surprise your lover with an afternoon delight

There's something in common about these three ideas ... they are all gifts of time and attention, the most precious and unselfish gifts of all. Plus, there's something really fun about planning a surprise you know will make a loved one happy.

It's a good way to liven up the hot, lazy month of August :)
