Each March, no matter if we have a drop of Irish blood in our veins, we don a bit 'o the green for luck and enjoy a lighthearted camaraderie with everyone we see.
It's a day we are quick to smile and feel kindly toward others ... a merry break from the routine of our daily lives.
Following close behind is the arrival of the vernal equinox ... the first day of Spring. We feel winter drabness waning, the earth warming and greening beneath our feet. Our mood brightens in anticipation of new buds and new babies.
In some years, Easter arrives late in the month to continue our March Holidays celebration of rebirth and renewal .
