My 18th Birthday In France!

Being 18 is pretty important, and when celebrated in France... You can vote, give your blood, feel independent, and it generally happens the year you're leaving high school for university so... everybody wants to make it special for you!

My birthday is on the 4th of September, just before going back to school. On morning, I received a wonderful bunch of huge white flowers from my boyfriend (and among them arums, my favorites), delivered at home. Surprise!

Then my parents prepared a special lunch with everything I like, including typically a chocolate cake with candles. And I was presented my gift at this moment: a laptop! The afternoon, we went to my grandmother for tea. Here again, sweets and gift (in this case, money, since I was getting older).

The next Saturday, I organized a party at home with my friends (implying beers, music, chatting, videos and games).
